LATE A. K. PATIL EDUCATION TRUST’S RAJIV GANDHI VIDYALAY envisions being the best school to produce self-motivated lifelong learners who will be dynamic and proactive leaders in their chosen fields. The school strives to create an appreciation and understanding and respect of various cultural backgrounds and national heritages in order to help the child face the changing world of today, thereby, preparing them to take an active and responsible role as a citizen in the world of the future. We aspire to cultivate and develop the character of the children, to guide their minds towards independent, liberal, creative thinking, to strengthen their wills, and to inculcate tolerance and understanding for all their fellows.

LECTURING

Students are viewed as empty vessels who passively receive knowledge from their teachers through lectures and direct instruction, with an end goal of positive results from testing and assessment.

DEMONSTRATING

A demonstration may be used to prove a fact through a combination of visual evidence and associated reasoning. It is a process of teaching through examples or experiments. Student interest and reinforced memory retention can be raised through demonstration.

COLLABORATING

Collaboration allows students to actively participate in the learning process by talking with each other and listening to others opinions. Teachers may employ collaboration to assess students abilities to work as a team and build leadership skills.

CLASS DISCUSSION

Class discussions can enhance students understanding, add context to academic content, broaden student perspectives, highlight opposing viewpoints, reinforce knowledge, build confidence, and support community in learning.
